Student Course

Regular C.M.A. classes, C.M.A is suitable for students of all ages from 5-years and over, from complete beginners to those with previous experience all are welcome. C.M.A. teaches the combined arts of Taekwon-do (foot/kicking techniques), Kongsu-do (hand/punching techniques), Hapki-do (grappling). C.M.A. embraces kicking, punching, jumping, blocking, practical self defence, grabbing, throwing, twisting, dodging, parrying techniques, meditation and patterns that are all "combined" into one art form. At advanced levels, complex weapon arts and healing arts are introduced.

C.M.A. will lead to dramatic improvements in your health and fitness, strength, flexibility, discipline, confidence, endurance, concentration, relaxation and the ability to defend yourself. Typically clubs have two trainings per week, which are approximately 1hr in duration. Holiday Program
Titled as "Kickin Karate " the C.M.A. holiday program offered through the Kidactive organisation is designed especially for kids participation during school holidays between terms. The program is designed to promote self-esteem, confidence, agility, flexibility, concentration and coordination. It introduces basic self-defence and C.M.A. techniques such as basic kicks, holding movements, breakfalls, target kicks and various cross training exercises. Activities are not exclusive to martial arts and can include specially arranged and supersvised day trips to fun loctions. It is fun and exciting and has proved to be extremely popular to kids who are new to martial arts, it is great as an introduction into the formalised C.M.A. student classes.
 
Kick Start
An aerobic based class, where participants are involved in a medium to high impact cardio workout involving C.M.A. techniques. Kick Start is C.M.A. to music, designed to be fun, for men, women and children of all ages. Kick Start has proved particularly popular to busy parents.
 
Counter Attack

Modular self-defence classes, designed to improve self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-control (discipline) through the medium of self-defence. This program is ideal for both men and women of all ages and involves both theoretical and practical domains. Primary interest groups include women (incl. those in abusive relationships), troubled teenagers, and beneficiaries.

Counter Attack has been especially created and designed by C.M.A Masters and Senior Instructors as a complete self-defence course. Counter Attack consists of modules ranging from the Beginners Course (Module 1) through to the Advanced Course (Module 4).

The modules cover all aspects of Self Defence, such as identifying and avoiding compromising situations, awareness of possible attack scenes and attackers and action / reaction to self defence situations, both mentally and physically. Each module is accompanied by written material for future reference.

 
Cardio Pulse
An aerobic based class, where participants are involved in a low impact cardio workout. Cardiac Attack is designed for both men and women who are just getting back into physical activity, the elderly, those with restricted movement or who are restricted by health concerns (for instance high-risk coronary possibilities). This class promotes low impact cardio workouts, stretching, meditation and blood circulation.
 
C.M.A. Camp
For students to have fun, learn about C.M.A. outside the usual surrounds of the dojang and enjoy the camping experience alongside senior C.M.A. instructors. Camps are typically run during School holidays and weekends and have proved to be extremely popular amongst students and instructors alike.
 
C.M.A. One on One

By special arrangement only. Have specific targets you want to meet? Can't make normal C.M.A. class times? Finding personal training at the gym tedious and repetitive?

C.M.A. Instructors are able take you through your paces on a one to one basis, offering you traditional C.M.A. training but catered to your exclusive needs. C.M.A. One on One is by special arrangement only and subject to instructor availability.
